FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thank you for your interest in Trustmark Care.  We know that arranging care for a loved one or yourself is a big decision and its is normal to have lots of questions.  Below are some of the more frequently asked questions, along with our answers.  If you have a question that isn't answered or if you would like to discuss arranging care in more details then please get in touch using a method above.  

01. Can i cancel my contracts?

If you no longer need our services, you can cancel your contract with no cancellation payment, by giving four weeks' notice.  


02. Can i stop my carer from coming to do one of their visits?

Yes, you can.  You just have to give us 24 hours' notice.  


03. What if i don't like my carer?

Following your assessment, our manager will carefully select a team of carers to best support your needs and personalities.  If for any reason you are not happy or comfortable with the carer, we will do our best to replace the carer as soon as we are safely able to do so.  


04. Can i get help with the fees of your services?

We will help establish the possibilities of gaining financial support from the government through your local authority.  Most of our clients receive our services for free or part funded.  


05. Can i contact Trustmark Care at any time?


Yes, you can contact our office at any time.  Our office is normally open from 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.  Aside from this, we operate an out-of-hours emergency phone number which is manned between the following hours

  • Monday- Friday 06:00-08:30 & 17:00-22:00
  • Saturday-Sunday 06:00-22:00


06. Can i get care services for my family member whilst i go on holiday etc?

Yes, we can provide temporary care services whilst you are away on holiday or need to take a break or do something, just ensure we have plenty of notice to be able to facilitate this. 


07. Do you offer services for both young and older people? 

Most of our service users are over the age of 60, elderly and infirm.  Trustmark Care also offer care services to people from the age of 18 years upwards, who have illness or injury, including people with mental health problems and learning difficulties.   


08. Do you work with Local Authorities?

Yes, we work closely with Local Authorities. 


09. Are you registered?

Yes we are registered with Care Quality Commission to provide the Regulated Activity of Personal Care.  


10. Why use Our Services

Short or long visits, daily or weekly, our care assistants are experienced with outstanding training, references and are DBS checked.
